Produced by San Marzano, a co operative created in 1962 by a group of 19 local farming families. Now with over 1200 growers involved, they have been able to invest in the winery and new technology. This has allowed them to create modern wines with a distinct feel for the region they came from and classic varietal flavours.
Located in Salento in the ‘heel’ of Italy’s boot, you can really taste the sunshine in this super warm and juicy red. Full of bright cherry fruit, blackcurrants and delicate herbal spice. Soft, supple and mouth filling.
Great wine to keep you cozy now the nights are drawing in. Try with a casserole or a plate of cheese in front of the telly.
