BELGIAN STRONG ALE PACK – MIX OF 12

Description

A mixed selection strong ales which pack a punch on flavour. Nice variety between lighter and darker styles of beer.

• Triple Karmeliet – 8.4% 33cl Bottle. Historic recipe using a mixture of oats, barley, and wheat. This leads to a really interesting beer, with the oats contributing full body to balance the lightness brought by wheat.
• La Chouffe – 8% 33cl Bottle. Clove and coriander with some fruity/floral sweetness are among the wholesome flavours of this iconic blond beer.
• Kwak – 8.4% 33cl Bottle. A distinctive amber ale, subtly spiced with hop and coriander notes, along with the classic fruity Belgian flavour profile.
• Rodenbach Grand Cru – 6% 33cl Bottle. Exceptional Flemish red-brown ale that owes its fresh and sour taste and complex fruitiness to its lengthy partial maturation in wooden oak casks.
• Chimay Blue – 9% 33cl. A rich dark ale from trappist brewery Chimay. A luxurious dubbel with coffee, chocolate, and banana.
• Delirium Tremens – 8.5% 33cl. One of the iconic Belgian beers, this strong blonde is boozy, warming, but nicely rounded with sweeter malty notes and a refreshingly dry finish.
