CdRh blanc 2023
40-45% Marsanne (left to overripen a touch), 40-45% Roussanne, 10-20% Viognier (vines early 2010s & up to 1990s) on the plateau at 300+ metres, steel vat fermented, raised 5-6 months, malo blocked, “the Marsanne brings freshness to the Viognier”, first wine 2015, organic, biodynamic wine, 15,000-20,000 b
2023 **** (vat, bottling March 2024) shiny yellow robe; greengage, white plum, fennel airs on the nose. The palate has a dried fruits’ flavour, a firm feel, has direction, a good linear expression, peach on the exit, gorse, local tones. It carries floral touches, a nice spot of gourmandise. 13.5°. 40% Marsanne, 40% Roussanne, 20% Viognier. “2023 Côtes blanc has a bit more richness than 2022, and the fermentations went well,” Thibaud Arnaud. Drink to 2027, tasted Feb 2024
