2021 ****
good lustre in the red robe; there is a nice steady depth to the nose, mixes mulberry, raspberry, dark red fruit, shows a hint of reduction. The palate has good early drive, holds busy, bright blackberry fruit, very fresh and up, life in the tannins. This offers good 2021 clarity, is a free running Côtes that works well, is bright as a button, well made, shows some iron crunch late on. 13.5°. 2027-28 Feb 2024 Previously Nov 2022 ***(*) correct red colour; there is nicely unleashed red fruit with reduction in tow on the nose, multiple raspberry prompts. The palate is nicely go-go, gives an instant offer of red berries, the tannins mild. The fruit declares well, and it’s a fun, “up” wine, w.o.w. drinking. 2026-27 Tasted Nov 2022
