BAS-ARMAGNAC: VS Bas-Armagnac from the great producer Domaine Tariquet. Bas-Armagnac is the best of the three Armagnac producing regions of Gascony, and the Armagnacs here are celebrated for their robustness and complexity. Domaine Tariquet source their grapes from their own estate vineyards, and use the traditional wood-fired continous stills that give the signature weight.

Tariquet’s VS is matured for 3-5 years (minimum aging is 1 year) and offers spice, vanilla, orange zest, caramel and roasted apples with a zingy youthfulness. Lovely.
