ISLAND, ARRAN: Second release of the core range from Lagg distillery. Starting off in bourbon barrels and then finished off for 6 months in Oloroso sherry hogsheads. Really rich flavour profile highlighting sweet spiced berries, dark chocolate and hazelnut. No chill filtration and no added colour – and just look at that colour! Probably the deepest I’ve seen in a non-coloured Scotch whisky (unlike people like Dalmore who use colouring).
