Pretty mellow and elegant Chilean Cabernet. Nice, juicy, plum fruit, good balance of tannins & fruit. Strawberries, anise, licorice and caramel. Great value for money.
Santa Alba is produced by Vina Alto Roble, founded in 1993. ‘Alto Roble’ means tall oak tree, apropos of nothing. Winemaking is led by Eloisa Uribe, who has worked in wineries in Bordeaux and Napa Valley before settling in Chile in 2002.
