2024 release of Bruichladdich’s famed heavily-peated expression. Octomore 15.1 was distilled in 2018 using Concerto Barley, and aged in ex-first fill and re-fill bourbon for 5 years. Peated to a barmy 108.2 PPM, don’t let that fool you into thinking this will taste like a chimney. Beneath the smoke is toffee, creamy vanilla and the classic Islay emergence of tropical fruit. Lovely stuff.
